The Romantic Embrace   The phone dialled three times. 00.00, 00.01, 00.02... the seconds began to count down "I've got to talk to you, I'll meet you on the train platform" her voice was timid, you could tell she was fearful something might happen, she hung up before she could get a reply. She could hear his voice, he was with his friends, they were talking about her. There was a thick bush line between the platform and her, the bridge that joined the two wasn't far off. I walked up the stairs slowly, I didn't want to seem hasty now that I could be seen over the hedges. I avoided eye contact - I don't know why but it seemed better that way.

She could feel her vocal cords stretching. The tears rolled down her face. She didnt even know what she was saying any more, she didnt even know what they were fighting about. All she knew was that she was yelling and couldn't stop. I felt awful.   He had forgotten what anything meant, all he new was that he wanted to stop her pain, he could see it as she screamed. But her eyes wept for it to stop. He couldn't hear her, what ever she was saying. All he knew was that he wanted to hug her and tell her he loved her. He stood there. It's always a terrifying thought to diving into different things. Experiencing life, letting go. However it's also scary to imagine what you'd loose. It's like walking through a minefield that someone else planted. But at the same time, it's exciting. It's like free falling. But it can end in one of two ways: - Splattering horribly on the ground and possibly never recovering, or - You'll have someone holding out a net for you. To catch you when you fall. So right now, step away from the ledge, and fall. Do not be afraid. You have to let go, fall and know that, your special someone will catch you.
